
There's honey on the nose, followed by flavours of cinnamon, basil, pine, lemon peel, quince and vanilla, as well as chilli powder. The palate is big, waxen and chocolate malt-sugar sweet, with clotted cream and dried fruit. Add half a teaspoon of water to highlight the multi-sherried wood, wax, honey and vanilla. Long and luxurious at the finish.
