This is by nature an exotic wine. Etienne Montille likes to harvest the grapes as early as possible to maintain structural tension, and rarely uses new barrels. The 0.63-hectare plot, situated beside the famous "Les Genevrières" vineyard, takes its excellence from calcareous marl and limestone gravel.
